Aysha Aguilu, of Hackensack, NJ, first attempted to withdraw the money from a West Chester TD bank branch the morning of Thursday, May 27, West Whiteland Police Det. Scott Pezick said.

That bank alerted other TD Bank branches in the area, so when Aguilu came to the Exton branch later that day, bank officials immediately called police, Pezick said.

There, Aguilu had been trying to withdraw money from the account of a 66-year-old Teaneck, NJ woman, but was denied and found walking on the street by arriving West Whiteland officers, Pezick said.

At the time of her arrest, Aguilu was in possession of two counterfeit New Jersey drivers licenses, both of Teaneck residents, and three counterfeit Bank of America debit cards, police said.

She was arrested around noon on charges of identity theft, access device fraud, record tampering, theft by deception and theft by unlawful taking.

She was being held in the Chester County Prison pending a first court appearance.
